Hey Paddy and Laura,
Just stumbled onto your site. We’re doing a similar trip and have almost made it to Ushuaia, then we’ll turn around and head back through the Andes. Looks like our paths might cross, perhaps somewhere in Peru (assuming you tackle the Andes first and hit Brazil on the way back). Will follow your progress.
